Community Wealth Building AWBI Commitment Series: Closing the Racial Wealth Gap for Shared Prosperity with Jay Bailey

As a follow up to AWBI’s first annual Community Wealth Building Forum hosted virtually in March, AWBI is excited to announce its Community Wealth Building Commitment Series: Closing the Racial Wealth Gap for Shared Prosperity.

The follow up Community Wealth Building Commitment Series will highlight organizations and initiatives currently implementing community wealth building strategies including the support of Black enterprise development, access to capital and equitable finance, anchor procurement and market access, workforce and land use/real estate. The series will highlight local and national best practices in community wealth building.

Join us for the first session in the series on May 26 from 11AM-12PM with Jay Bailey, President and CEO of the Russell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RCIE) to learn more about building wealth in the Black community through business ownership.
