William Green

Senior Program Associate

William W. Green has over 17 years of experience in higher education and the nonprofit sector. As a result, he leads large-scale projects and programs from implementation to execution in both the nonprofit and higher education sectors.

William is a seasoned professional with experience leading multimillion-dollar projects and programs in higher education and nonprofit sectors. In higher education settings, William managed the U54 Cancer Health Disparities research project at Meharry Medical College in Nashville Tn., and the National Institute of Health's (NIH R25) Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) project at Morehouse College In Atlanta, GA.

He also served as the Director of Programs (Quality Improvements and Operations) for a nonprofit organization in East Point, GA, where he led a system change effort to disrupt the cycle of poverty for metro Atlanta youth. William oversaw all operations for multiple federal and state grants concurrently with a total budget of 2.4M annually and a team of 25 staff members.

William's keen ability to build relationships and manage systems has helped organizations standardize their operating practices across departments, design and implement quality improvement initiatives, and cultivate new partnerships leading to improved outcomes.

William is a native of Nashville, TN, and a graduate of Middle TN State University. He is a certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master and has played a vital role in strategic development and systems change for organizations and communities throughout his career. He has a fervent passion for helping others professionally and socially.
